Dynomite Afrodite follows Cleo, a screenwriter, on the verge of giving up on her dreams. She’s inspired by blaxploitation films and her latest project Dynomite Afrodite tells the tale of Afrodite: The Blaxploitation Bad Mamma Jamma, a fearless, unapologetic badass, essentially everything Cleo wants to be, but is not. As the lines between her own world and Afrodite’s begin to blur, Cleo must confront her greatest fears and reclaim control of her story.
